Nancy’s Spay/Neuter Fund
For pet owners with limited finances or those who take in a stray and want financial help to have the new pet S/N. Also can be used for cat sterilization with Trap-Neuter-Release. BARK’s Nancy Benda will schedule an appointment for the surgery and pay for the service, including a rabies vaccination. In return, the pet owner will be asked for a donation to perpetuate the fund. From June 2009 thru February 2010, BARK was able to spay or neuter 64 dogs and cats from this fund. These funds are subject to availability and in order to be eligible you must contact Nancy Benda before any services are performed, 254.622.2457.
TNR- Trap-Neuter-Release of Feral Cats
For colonies of feral cats. Our BARK cat ally will organize a ‘trapping’ coordinated with an appropriate vet clinic. For more information call Fallon Jones, 254.932-5348.
Pet Care for After Owner Dies
For elderly or terminally ill people who want to ensure their pet will be taken care of for the rest of their lives post mortem. For $5000. BARK will take the pet upon death of owner and find a permanent home or take him into the kennel facility. BARK will ensure your pet will be cared for by animal lovers for the rest of their life and any medical needs will be paid for with the initial fee.
